CH SIGNATURE JAM N JELLY "SMUCKERS"

Not only was Smuckers the very first puppy I whelped, but my first show dog as well. There were a lot of other firsts with her too. She was the first and only parti in the litter; I'd been wanting a black parti colored Havanese since I became interested in the breed. I think it is because that was the color of the first Havanese I ever saw. Winning Best of Opposite over specials at her first show was truly amazing. In fact, I didn't realize how special that win was until several show dogs later! I think my greatest challenge was keeping her feet white on Georgia red clay. She's also, the only dog my vet has ever seen that rolls over for him to scratch her belly. Lastly, she is my first retired champion.

This is my chance to showcase the Havanese that have not only shaped Signature Havanese , but its future and that of other breeders as well. I am thankful and indebted to all of you who have shown or will show and love one of my furbabies. The dedication you all exhibit to your Havanese, the breed, and the sport of showing dogs is to be commended- Kudos to all! Although every Havanese is a champion, these have earned the title. . .
