Welcome to my little paw print on the web.

I live in a small community just south of Atlanta with my husband, son, our Havanese or “Furballs,” Potter- our Berner, and Cha Cha- the cat. Being a life-long learner is important to me, and I apply it to all I do! I regularly enroll in seminars and classes to continue my education as a breeder and exhibitor committed to the welfare, improvement, and advancement of the Havanese breed.

I am actively involved in many clubs and organizations that are dedicated to these values as well: Havanese Club of America (HCA), HEARTbreeder and Research Team Member, Volunteer for Havanese Rescue Inc (HRI), and Charter and Committee Member of Southern Magnolia Havanese Club (SMHC). Those of you in GA, AL, TN and surrounding areas are invited to join SMHC- a group of show and pet Havanese Enthusiast.

My precious furbabies are from health-tested parents, family-raised under foot all day; litter-box trained; well-socialized by family, friends, and neighbors; temperament tested; showered with love, attention, and toys; dine on homemade treats; and lastly shown with pride and joy. To put it simply, they are spoiled rotten! In fact, several friends want to be one of my furballs in their next life!

May 15, 2007: I’ve recently completed a two-day seminar by Dr. Carmen Battaglia: “Breeding Better Dogs” and a six week handling course with my new furbaby, Libby. I love to “talk dogs” especially Havanese- sometimes to the detriment of my family. In fact they (mostly my husband) relish the opportunity for me to chat about dogs to others. Showing off my furballs is just as much fun! Being the proud mom that I am, it is only logical I would have pictures and stories of all my fur-girls and boys both past and present. Thank you for inquiring about a Signature Furbaby. I don’t have any litters planned at this time, but will update my site when an upcoming birth is expected. So stop by my little pawprint on the web often! It is not uncommon for me to have a waiting list. Once you notice a litter is planned, fill out the questionnaire and follow-up with an email or phone call. Then I’ll add you to my Birth Announcement List. My Havanese are pets first and foremost then show dogs. I will never win the title for the most champions bred and/or finished in a year or lifetime! All of my furbabies go to their forever homes as treasured members of their human families. This page is dedicated to you! Your furbabies are still loved by me and will always be a part of my extended “dog family.” They maybe out-of-sight, but they are definitely not out of mind.
